Or worse, that it won’t be received well?Kim spent many years feeling that way after a teacher told Kim that she was, “No good at writing and should stop.” Discouraged, Kim put writing aside. Then, she came to a crossroads in her life and let those painful words go. She set her words free and let her voice to be heard once more. Since then, she has gone on to author five books (with three more on the way this year), two planners and even a collection of Sudoku books. Most importantly, Kim started RTI Publishing and has helped over one hundred entrepreneurs to become authors and taught them how to use their books to become authorities in their niche and open doors to build their business faster.

His funny and creative mindset will not allow him to function any other way. Vince has had some curveballs thrown his way but he says what’s life without some curveballs. Vince believes it doesn’t really matter what’s thrown at you as long as you are ready to swing. In 2009  Vince was diagnosed with nasal pharynx carcinoma - translation: sinus cancer - he battled it again in 2016. He believes your perspective on life has a lot to do with the outcome of any situation you’re in. They call him a cancer survivor - that he beat cancer, and he doesn’t deny it  ...YES! He had cancer, but cancer never had him! Join Vince and 5 other amazing speakers as they share their stories about the curveballs of life!

Today we chatted with Shelley about her experience on Talk11 and everything in between.Shelley Hofer is a mental health advocate who began sharing her 45 year battle with Major Depressive Disorder when her teenage son, Zach, stepped up and raised over $130,000 for youth mental health initiatives. Shelley now speaks about her illness, hospitalizations, Electro-convulsive Therapy treatments (ECT), rTMS and brain stimulation to help reduce the shame and stigma associated with Mental Illness that often keeps others from seeking treatment. Despite the life sentence of her illness, Shelley's story is full of hope, connection and resilience. She has a very loving and accepting partner in Derek and loves parenting an empathetic and very moody (but oh so wonderful!) teenage boy.
