Well, we're back!!! For a one off...or maybe more, who knows! It was fantastic to speak to former WR holder Steve Cram and World Cross Country medalist, Tim Hutchings in this weeks special episode.  We discussed everything from the relaunch of mass participation events, the sub 2hr marathon and of course reflecting back on two amazing careers. We caught up with Andy about what happened to him in the run up to the London Marathon, why he didn't run and where is at now. We also talked about the upcoming 'Night of The 10ks. Oi oi!! In this weeks episode, I spoke to GB International and 2:09 marathoner, Dewi Griffiths. We spoke all about his transition through the age groups, working on a farm and fitting his training around sheering the sheep!! Dewi is set to run in the World Championships in Doha later this year! In this weeks episode, we spoke to Team New Balance Manchester coach, Steve Vernon. Steve was a fantastic cross country runner in his own right, finishing 10th at the European Cross Country champs in 2012 and has an impressive 8 national cross country medals to his name. He is now the team coach of New Balance Manchester where he coaches a whole group of professional athletes. We discussed cross country, coaching and of course...mixed up with some light-hearted chit chat.

In the final episode of series 1, we chatted to 'Chefluencer' & ex athlete Chris Baber. Chris is an ex athlete who won BBC1 cooking show Yes Chef in 2016 and now has a following of over 120,000 users on instagram. Follow him on @ChrisBaber !! We chatted about the importance of food for runners, why good tasting food is important, training around a busy schedule, our love for running and as always, mixed up with some light-hearted chat! In Episode 9, we spoke to GB International Adelle Tracey. Adelle has been improving year on year, PBing every year since she was 14! That has now taken her to World Champs Semi Finals, 2 x fourth place finishes at the European champs and a 1:59 800m! Adelle is also a model, professional make up artist and was an Olympic torch bearer in 2012! In this episode we talk about what it's like finishing 4th at major champs, the heartbreak of not going to Rio in 2016 and as always...mixed up with some light-hearted chit chat!  Enjoy!

In this weeks episode, we spoke to former World Indoor 800m finalist, Jimmy Watkins. Jimmy retired soon after the world indoors to focus on his music career, which took him around the world and to festivals like Leeds & Reading! We had some technical issues today which has meant we had to cut a lot of the interview out, which is disappointing, so apologies to you all and to Jimmy for that!
