After 20 weeks Vicki and Adam have reached their podcast journey end.  Vicki has pulled her socks up, her pants up, her jeans up! In fact most things have to be pulled up more frequently because she’s lost some timber. Adam’s also lost a bit of weight but realises he still hasn’t found his exercising mojo. There’s also exciting news of a big new project coming soon.

Fresh from a fitness class and all aglow, Vicki is still on it, despite the reservations that some had about her will power. Adam’s still on it too...the sofa that is...but he’s still determined that he will soon get going. In this episode there’s an unexpected gift and a gift that keeps on giving!

The journey to betterment is getting hairy. Do all men have fluff on their feet, do all women find stray hairs on their neck? We’re asking for a friend. This week Adam gets chased by a Bobby and Vicki has a body odour quandary. But (and it’s still a fairly sizeable butt) things are beginning to happen and Adam has finally started his fitness journey...in earnest.

They’re the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle of the fitness world. One was clearly born into it and is dutifully playing the role, the other has got a bit bored with all the interest and is busy finding ways out! This week Vicki goes nuts for snacking, Adam’s at the cinema eating popcorn. Will he ever just get on with it or is he planning an escape route to Canada? I know what my money’s on!

Has Adam finally run out of excuses? His ‘Couch Potato’ diet plan is faltering and there’s a slow realisation that the only way to beat the bulge is by stomaching some exercise. Vicki, on the other hand, has overdone things and is finding the most necessary of tasks a trial.    

Chocolate, mince pies, chocolate, trifle, chocolate, Christmas pudding, chocolate, cake, chocolate. Both Vicki and Adam have overindulged but after the excess comes the exercise, well that’s the plan. Vicki is back at the gym. Adam has hopes of becoming as ripped as AJ, but so far the only thing that’s ripped are his shorts.

Christmas is coming, we’re trying to not get fat, Vicki’s swimming at the gym and Adam...he’s just sat! Although he’s not! Adam has been to Zumba...it’s a Christmas miracle. Hear how he got on in this low fat, high energy festive special.

We could be in trouble, Adam has been doing some research into how many calories he can burn whilst doing absolutely nothing. Vicki has finally confessed to the imperfections in her new way of life. With Christmas nearly upon us are the dieting duo heading to a period of excess excluding exercise?   

Would you be surprised to learn that Adam hasn’t started his fitness journey just yet? But it now seems that, at least, his bags are packed, he’s planned his route and the car’s engine is revving up. Vicki, on the other hand, is a hop and a skip away from being officially recognised as a gym bunny. Things are moving, and in the right direction at last.

We’re back! And for season 2 we’re (planning on being) leaner and meaner than ever before. This time round we’ve also got guests, the first being Instagrammer @thefitlondoner sharing her fitness knowledge and her melt (if you know, you know). Vicki and Adam are back on it and going ride this fitness pony home (sorry, we’re just excited to be podcasting again).

It’s the final episode of the first season and Vicki and Adam have only just got to grips with what’s going on. With the gym now a regular thing in Vicki’s life (although, as you’ll hear she has her doubters) and with Adam dipping his toe in more spiritual waters, their journey is reaching its first pit stop. Will the dumpy duo resist temptation in the four week break ahead or will they pile on the pounds and reignite their love of loafing?

Vicki and Adam seem to have reached a fork in the road to self fulfilment. Vicki has taken the road to fitness, Adam has sat himself down and is reading a book. Neither is wrong but one may be righterer (new word alert) than the other. With just two weeks left before a 4 week podcast break when all manner of celebrities jump on board the Vicki and Adam train to toned torsos, will the pair ever sync up and get back on the same track?

What Craig David would have said if he were Vicki: Started with some Zumba on Monday, Tried out Pilates on Tuesday, I was working out on Wednesday, and on Thursday and Friday and Saturday I swam, chilled on Sunday Which is why it’s a good job he isn’t Vicki because that would never have been a hit.  Anyway, Adam needs to pull his socks up and Vicki’s fingers are on hand...

Mysteriously, in 7 days, two weeks have passed and the fitness journey is jogging along nicely. Adam has been in the USA but has still managed to lose a bit of timber. Vicki has been swimming and lost 5 stone...or so she says. Be inspired, be amazed, be kind, they’re simple folk.
