We are exploring how diet culture has hijacked this term and the glorification of restriction in our culture makes it easy to jump on the elimination band wagon without doing the proper medical or psychological evaluation needed to determine what is best for your body. We offer tangible ways of breaking the diet legacy in the home and how parents can provide a safe home that is preventative to the nurturance of an eating disorder.
